Jo Seidel works as an education consultant to provide assistance to Indiana schools in the areas of literacy and intervention services, curriculum, instruction, assessment, school improvement, and data analysis. Additionally, she serves as an Indiana trainer for Thinking Maps. As a consultant for QLD, Quality Leadership by Design, The SMART Way she works with educators at all levels throughout the country. This work focuses on systemic school improvement centered on needs analysis of administrators, educators, and school districts to promote collaboration, professional learning, and accelerated student achievement. Support services include leadership and team coaching. Other areas of consultation include her working as a trainer for Assessment FOR Learning based on the work of Rick Stiggins, and training in poverty issues surrounding the work of Dr. Ruby Payne.
