The organization has been an affiliate of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) since 1945 - one of the first affiliates in the nation. We address all aspects of effective teaching to promote learning - such as professional development, educational leadership, capacity building, and advocacy. Indiana ASCD is comprised of educators serving varied roles - building and district administrators, classroom teachers, university and college professors, and educational consultants.
